Children's Ministry
AWANA
Our church AWANA program is part of more than 13,000 AWANA Clubs, which operate around the world. AWANA stands for 'Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed', the acronym taken from 1 Timothy 2:15. The weekly AWANA Club consists of 3 components: Handbook time, Council time and Games time.
Our AWANA group meets Tuesday nights from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. at the Church, All children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 years are welcome! All adults wanting to participate in this ministry are also welcome!
The first week your child will bring home an Entrance test booklet, which is the first step in AWANA achievement to be completed over the next 3 weeks. After the Entrance Test is completed, a clubber is eligible to earn more achievement awards as a registered member of AWANA. Our goal is to provide each child with a balance of physical, social and spiritual activities.
Our Commander, Pastor Brian, supervises a team of teachers, listeners and workers who devote themselves to our kid's spiritual nurture and fun. Please feel free to visit our club at your convenience or contact us if you have questions.
