COVID-19 Update

OUR PLAN FOR SUNDAY SERVICES @ 10:30 AM

We welcome you in Jesus’ name. We’re grateful for the beautiful and expansive property God has provided for us. So, weather permitting, we’re staying outdoors during this fall season. Please follow the laneway, veer right, and find a parking spot. Our outdoor worship takes place on the lawns behind our Work Building. The lawns are spacious and our sound system is clear and far-reaching. In the case of inclement weather, we meet for worship inside. Our church building is sanitized for your safety and we are continuing to monitor local and provincial recommendations for worship gatherings.

I will declare your name to my people; in the assembly I will praise you. Psalm 22:22

Protective Measures & Safety Protocols

Self-assessment: Please self-screen, and upon arrival expect to be screened once more.

Physical Distancing: Keep a safe distance of 6 ft. or 2 m. at all times, before, during, and after the service.

Seating: If outdoors, come early to find your spot, and if you’d prefer to stay in your car there’s room for strategic parking. Just enquire. If indoors, the front door is the only entrance to the building, and inside our auditorium our seating arrangement ensures physical distancing for you and any others who might be in your social bubble.

Sanitary Stations: Whether outdoors or indoors look for the table with alcohol-based disinfectant for good hand hygiene.

Washrooms: Be encouraged to use the washroom before leaving home; but for outdoor services, underneath the carport of the church house basement, look for the sign on the door. For indoors, follow the signs to use the designated washrooms.

Bring Your Own: Bring your own Bible and please download and print out your own 2 page song sheet. If outdoors, bring your own lawn chair, and dress accordingly. If indoors, wearing a face covering is mandatory. We welcome you to bring your own mask. Disposable masks will be provided if you forget yours.

Singing: Outdoors we sing. Indoors, we’re not singing congregationally at this time.

Offering: We have eliminated the intentional passing of objects like offering plates, so no offering will be taken up. We encourage on-line giving (donation.chfbc@bellnet.ca for Interac e-Transfer).

Audio Messages: Sunday messages are posted here.

Together we exist to glorify God. And in days of global uncertainty we anchor our souls to the rock who is higher than us. “God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we trust His heart.”
